Short Narrative:
We live in an exciting time in the history of medicine because of the way in which genetic information is transforming our understanding of health and disease. My clinical and research interests are centered on understanding the genetic factors which make patients susceptibility to infection. By understanding the variability in that susceptibility, I believe that new and improved therapies will emerge in this century.
